Last month I headed down to the Portland Art Museum to photograph the Oregon Partnership charity event. The evening was filled with a silent auction that included hand-painted children’s chairs and a variety of gift baskets. During the silent auction Mayor Sam Adams dropped by to show his support then it was time for everyone to head upstairs for a seated dinner and presentation from Oregon Partnership. This is a great non-profit that has a crisis hotline where anyone can call up and get a person to talk to about the problems they are going through. Whether it’s drugs or thoughts of suicide, they are there to listen and help and provide a place for youth and military to call confidentially.
