I took last week off while my dad and step mother were in town visiting. I played tour guide and drove them to the coast to see Haystack Rock. Then down to McMinnville to see the huge Spruce Goose and another day out to the gorge to view the waterfalls and Crown Point. During the evening it was time to sample Portland’s culinary delights. From thai to mexican we were having great meals every nite and getting spoiled not having to cook!
I enjoyed taking images for me, it was a nice change to photograph non-living things. I have always been drawn to old, rusty and abandoned architecture. I love the texture and colors. I was also testing out my new camera body, the Canon 7d. This is a great camera that works amazing in low light and produces great colors. Little editing was done to the images below. Here are few pics from the day trip to the coast. More coming soon. Now, back to work in full force!
