School is back in session and the fall colors are out. It’s the time of the year when the warmth of summer comes to an end and it’s back to work mode. For many students this is a big year as they will be graduating at the end of it. Going into your senior year of high school is a proud moment not just for the students but for their parents as well. It’s about completing something. Doing the work and getting ready to start their lives as young adults. I had the please to photograph a selection of talented, smart and kind students this summer. I don’t look at the senior sessions much differently then I would a portrait session for anyone else. It’s about capturing their style and personality.
The biggest thing for me to be aware of is the yearbook requirements. So you will see more vertical images and tighter crops for the majority of their images. This is what looks best in the yearbook, anything shot far away and you can’t see their amazing smiles or faces! Thank you for taking the time to view the gallery below. I look forward to capturing your portrait, email me for more info and to set up a time for your session at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Enjoy a sampling of images from Erin’s senior shoot. It’s important to have two to three different outfits for your session. This gives you different looks and you may end up liking the one you didn’t think you would the most.
