If you have grown up in the midwest, mainly Wisconsin you are aware of all the antique malls and small vintage shops scattered across our state. One thing you may not realize is how amazing they are. You most likely take them for granted. I always knew they were special and a few antique malls up in Door County are where I took some of my first fine art photographs over thirty years ago. What I didn’t realize was that our vintage shops are not everywhere. After living on the West Coast for fifteen years I realized quickly that antiques and vintage goods were not easy to come by. If you did find a unique little shop that sold items like this they were expensive, more then in the good ‘ol midwest. So finding that one of kind item was put on hold for many years. Now that I am back in Wisconsin I am so happy to be able to just pop into a cute little vintage store and gaze at all the wonders it has to offer.
One of those is located near me and it’s so bright and cheery you just have to go visit. Spark Haus Vintage is the cutest little vintage resale shop. It has clothing, housewares, old records and of course knick knacks to fill your shelves with. I was thrilled to be able to photograph and work with Kelli, the owner recently. One thing I have done a lot of out West was photograph small businesses. This has now turned into being called “business branding”. What does that mean? It means you hire a photographer to come in and document your space and what you do. You are creating a set of professional images to use on your website, marketing, flyers, social media and more. I always recommend getting portrait done of yourself, the owner during the session as well. I shoot quickly, most sessions take less then two hours you will end up with a gorgeous set of images to share and attract the clients/customers who value what you do. Book you session today by calling 920.310.0260 or emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
