Alexis was introduced to photography at a young age thanks to her mom gifting her a 35mm Minolta camera at Christmas. From there she would take photos around her hometown of Sturgeon Bay located in Door County, WI.
It wasn’t until after college that she started to pursue her photography as a profession. She ended up relocating to Portland, Oregon and it was there that she worked for a local photographer for two years before deciding it was time to break off and start her own business. That was in 2001 and since then she has photographed just about everything. She is now focusing her talents on portraits, interiors and food photography.
Her style is considered documentary, meaning she is capturing how things are with little interruption. This is ideal to showcase your business. Why? You want your images to showcase what your business looks & feels like. This helps to connect with your audience in an authentic way.
Of course she will direct and guide you during your portrait session to ensure you look your best. You can relax knowing your photography session will be fun, quick and provide you with professional images for marketing and promotion of your business or a real estate listing.
